Shear Blades & Sheet Metal Guillotine Blades
Shear Blade Technology manufacture shear blades and sheet metal guillotine blades from a wide range of tool steels which include high carbon high chrome, shock resistant and heat resistant grades.
For each individual application the selection of the best tool steel and the metallurgical program to manufacture the blade is critical to optimise performance.
Materials which are traditionally considered difficult to cut (stainless steel, duplex grades, spring steel, nickel and titanium alloys, etc.) can all be sheared satisfactorily with correctly engineered machine knives.
Our extensive experience in the manufacture and use of blades places us in a unique position to advise on their correct setting and maintenance.
We have extensive experience of different machines and can usually select the blade design required without difficulty. Modifications to standard designs can be produced and solutions engineered to cater for non-standard applications.
